Video: The Good We Can Do for Each Other

Opportunities to DO MORE good are all around us -- if we just look.  I wasn't planning on blogging today, until I saw this new Mormon Messages video: Opportunities to Do Good.  How easy it is for us as individuals, in our own simples ways, to help carry the burdens of others, who simply cannot do it alone.

So much of what the Savior's life exemplified, had everything to do with caring for others.  His mission is to rescue His brothers and sisters, and to heal them -- both physically and spiritually.

Here in mortality we become more like Him, as we reach out to bear one another's burdens.  We have a covenant relationship with God, to do so.  Perhaps personally, I needed to be reminded of this -- but I've decided to start praying each day to have my eyes opened, just a little bit wider, that I might truly see...

Please consider sharing this video with your family and friends.

  3. @mamarowan -

My pleasure. I was delighted to share this video, and your family's beautiful story of allowing so many into the most personal challenges of your life -- to serve. It will inspire many more to reach out and find those locally whom they can serve. It did me.

I enjoyed visiting your blog, and seeing how well Annie is coming along. How joyful for your family and those who have given so much service, to see her doing so good!

Blessings to you all, and thank you for sharing your experience with the rest of us. It's a beautiful example of how Heavenly Father would have us care for one another...
