Easter Message to the World From Living Prophet of God
I've included the scripture references along with screen shots depicted throughout this beautiful declaration. I hope you will take the time to watch and read with your families this very touching testimony of our Risen Lord -- and then decide who you could share this wonderful message with!
HE WAS BETRAYED
14¶Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
15And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
16And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
54¶Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.
55And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilæan.
60And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
61And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
62And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
3And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.
BOUND AND REJECTED
1And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
22Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
1Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.
MOCKED. REVILED. SPIT ON.
29¶And when they had aplatted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a breed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
39¶And they that passed by areviled him, wagging their heads,
19And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.
17And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
18Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
19¶And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews.
46And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
HE DID HIS FATHER'S WILL
36And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
41And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: band his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
50¶And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
HELD HIS PEACE
61But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
34¶Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
HE GAVE HIS LIFE
30When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
HE IS RISEN
6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
